Located off of Highway 97A, Sicamous Creek Trails offers the perfect idea for family day-trips. There is plenty of parking outside of the trails, and bathrooms available for traveler’s ease. In addition, there are also picnic tables, hiking maps, and garbage bins available.

Sicamous Creek Falls Trails

The main attraction of the trails is a recreational path that leads to a waterfall. This trail provides gentle ambiance of mist, forest sounds, and shade from old-growth trees. This trail is only 0.5 km long and includes hand rails and stairs. Perfect for any level of mobility!

This trail has been updated recently, providing enhanced signage, directions, and safety measures. Additionally, the pathway is also dog-friendly.

Canyon Loop Trail

Sicamous Creek Trails includes a pathway for more experienced hikers as well, called Canyon Loop Trail (also known as the Lizard Mountain Bike Path). This more challenging route zig-zags up a mountain; visitors must dodge massive tree roots and be wary of loose rocks. This trail is longer at around 1.2 km and includes steeper slopes and a more difficult challenge. The reward at the top is benches to relax on.

The trails are close by hotels and other amenities. Travel South on Highway 97A (Vernon-Sicamous Highway), then turn left onto Two Mile Road. The parking lot is 0.5 km up Two Mile Road near the East side of Mara Lake.
