Two Mile Beach is a beautiful white sand beach near Sicamous. This less-known beach is a great spot to beat the crowds on a hot summer day.
Two Mile Beach near Sicamous is located right on Mara lake. It features amazing views of the Sicamous Narrows, Hyde Mountain, Swansea Point, and the surrounding area. It also has a picnic table and a small parking lot.
This little beach is just a couple minutes south of Sicamous, just off of Highway 97A. The sights from the highway are great but they are much better on the beach so make sure you keep your eyes on the road and don’t miss your turn.
Two Mile Beach is perfectly situated just away from town. Essentially, it is a great spot if you aren’t a fan of crowds or the other beaches nearby are full.
Additionally, it is located right across the street from Sicamous Creek Trails, a nearby hike with a breath taking waterfall. Dogs are allowed but make sure to keep your pooch on a leash.
All in all, it has just enough amenities to be a great alternative to some of the more busy beaches around. It is a great place to launch a kayak or watch the boats. Two Mile beach is the perfect spot to go for a swim, bring some beach toys to play in the sand, or lounge and relax to the sounds of the water.

Heading south from Sicamous on Vernon-Sicamous Highway 97A, turn right onto Wolfe Road and then a quick left onto Sicamous Creek Frontage Road. Finally, a right on Montcalm Crescent and then a left onto Tecumseh Ave.
